This Department is comprised of 5 Divisons:
Park Ranger's Office, Traffic Control Bureau, Risk Management, Event
Staff and the Artist Protection Detail.
The Park Ranger's Office is responsible for the public safety and park security. Their patrol area covers the Pico Rivera Sports
Arena, The Bicentennial Park Equestrian center and the surrounding park areas.
The Traffic Control Bureau is responsible for traffic control during Events held at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena and/or Bicentennial Park Stables.
The Traffic Bureau works in conjunction with California Highway Patrol Santa Fe Springs
Office as well as The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Risk Management's primary area of responsibility is the physical well being of the guests, employees,
contractors and talent at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena. This office surveys the
Arena for potential hazards, plans security measures, staffs the events and maintains emergency operations
The Event Staff division is supervised by the Park Ranger's Office. The
Event Staff members are comprised of Ushers and Ticket Takers that provide crowd
control and maintain guest relations at events held at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena.
The Artist Protection Detail provides physical security for staff and talent at the Sports
Arena, this Detail is comprised of members of the Event Staff and Park Ranger's Office, as well, it is supervised by the Park Ranger's Office.
There is NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED in the park common areas. Beer sales are permitted during events at the Sports Arena
but are only allowed to be consumed by persons of legal drinking age within the confines of the Arena. No Alcoholic Beverages
are allowed to be taken from the arena. There is absolutely NO DRINKING of alcoholic beverages permitted in the parking areas.
Registered campers and their guests are allowed to consume alcohol at their campsites ONLY.
The Speed Limit within the park is 10 Miles Per Hour. Please yield the right of way to pedestrians and Horses.
All vehicles must stay on the designated access roads. NO OFF-ROADING IS ALLOWED.
The California Vehicle Code is strictly enforced at Bicentennial Park.
NO FIREARMS, HUNTING, FISHING or possesion of WEAPONS is ALLOWED.
Fires are restricted to the BBQ's that are PRE-APPROVED ONLY. NO BONFIRES are ALLOWED.
Dogs are to be kept leashed at all times.

NO VIDEO CAMERAS or RECORDING DEVICES ARE ALLOWED.
The Pico Rivera Sports Arena has instituted a "Zero Tolerance" weapons policy. For Your Safety
and the Safety of Others; NO WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED. All knives, razors, scissors, chemical agents
(including hairspray and cologne) are banned from the Arena. Person(s) found to be in posession of
such items will be asked to return them to the cars or check them in at the Ranger Station. ALL ITEMS
CHECKED IN MUST BE CLAIMED AT THE END OF THE EVENT. Items NOT claimed will be disposed of.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OF ANY TYPE MAY BE BROUGHT INTO THE ARENA.
NO FOOD OF ANY KIND WILL BE ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT IN.
NO ICE-CHESTS, CANS, GLASS BOTTLES or "wine skins" are ALLOWED. HOWEVER for parents, Baby bottles and clear plastic
containers of water, formula, milk and/or baby food are allowed.
ALL PERSONS DESIRING ENTRANCE TO THE SPORTS ARENA AGREE TO BE SEARCHED AND ALLOW THEIR PERSONAL BELONGINGS (baby bags,
purses, back packs, etc) TO BE SEARCHED UPON ENTRY AND AT ALL TIMES DURING THE EVENT. FAILURE TO AGREE TO THESE SEARCHES WILL
BE GROUNDS FOR EJECTION FROM THE ARENA.
Guests are requested to remain in public areas ONLY during the events. Those NOT in posession of passes and/or authorization
that are found to be in non-public areas, will be asked to leave.
THERE WILL BE NO JUMPING IN TO THE ARENA ALLOWED. ALL VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO IMMEDIATE EXPULSION FROM THE ARENA!!!!
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN !!!!
FIGHTING, ATTEMPTS BY PERSONS NOT OF LEGAL DRINKING AGE TO PURCHASE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR ANY OTHER BEHAVIOR THAT THE
MANAGEMENT OF THE ARENA DEEMS DETREMENTAL TO THE OPERATION OF THE ARENA WILL ALSO LEAD TO EXPULSION WITH NO REFUND.
The Management of the Pico Rivera Sports Arena and lessors of same RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRANCE AND/OR EXCLUDE ANYONE
FROM THE ARENA AT THEIR SOLE DISCRETION.
NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED IN ANY OF THE ACTUAL STABLE AREAS. This includes the pipe corrals, covered stalls, feed storage areas and wood shavings storage areas.
Turn-Outs are allowed in designated areas ONLY.
Horses are to be tied or attended AT ALL TIMES they are outside of their assigned stall.
Except in the case of a BONIFIDE EMERGENCY (ie: medical) NO ONE will be allowed access to the stable area after hours.
Boarders are reminded to follow any directions issued by the Rangers at all times.
For your safety and the safety of others, all riders are to remain on the MARKED Trails ONLY. There is no riding in any
of the park's parking areas, common areas or roadways.
